Discipline: Gov. Okowa Suspends Top Aide For Arranging ‘Runs Girls’ For Senators Who Came For Constitutional Review

A top political appointee of the Delta State Governor may never step his feet again in government house, we learned. According to our insider sources, the State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa directed the office of the Secretary to the State Government on Tuesday to issue a two months suspension to the aide, who is always seen with him all over the country.

We gathered from multiple sources that his sins which have been compiling in the kitchen cabinet of the governor reached a crescendo on the above day. The appointee approached the legislators from Abuja led by Senator James Manager to ask them if he can arrange for some young damsels for them to spend the nights with for all the nights they will stay in Asaba till they go back to Abuja after the national assignment.

They were in the government house on a courtesy visit to intimate him of their plans to kick off the constitutional review set up by the Deputy Senate President, Barr. Ovie Omo-Agege. Some of the Senators were willing to take the offer while some kicked against it.

One of those who work in the government house and was present while the aide was talking to the Senators approached a senior government official, who opened the governor’s office for him to tell the governor the irresponsibility of his aide.

Okowa was livid according to a source and immediately ordered his suspension and removal of his name from the payroll, pending when he is recalled. The plan however is to permanently kick him out of government house even if he’s recalled.

The suspension however has been kept secret from going to the public as the government fears a backlash from citizens who have always known that it’s an unofficial pattern for visiting government officials to be provided with young girls old enough to be their daughters and grand daughters to calm their aged bodies. Okowa, a self-confessed Anglican Christian has jettisoned the practice of habouring girls around him since he was elected in 2015.
