Dekina Federal Constituency; Court Of Appeal Declare Hassan Abdullahi , APC Winner
Court of Appeal today declared member representing Dekina/Bassa federal Constituency in Kogi state, as duely elected in the February election,setting aside the tribunal decision for fresh election
The judges said the tribunal erred for ordering a rerurn of the last election,with the APC candidate Hassan Abdullahi,having won convincingly to represent the Constituency
According to the appeal court judges,the defendant and People’s Democratic party candidate in the last election, did not prove his case beyong reasonable doubts
Reacting to the judgement, member representing the area,Hassan Abdullahi thanked the people for their prayers and support during the litigation,promising to ensure the dividends of democracy to the Constituency is sustained in the current dispensation
He expressed confidence in the judiciary for setting aside the judgement of the trial court and declared him winner of the election
