The divisional party chairman Dekina local government Alhaji Husseini Ibrahim has called on PDP supporters and the party executives across the Dekina local government area to work for a better future of the local government and the party.
He said the party supporters and the party executives in Dekina local government must not settle but work deliberately to better the local government and the party PDP.
The (PDP) party chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim,
has urged the good people in Dekina local government to back the party and his administration as chairman both physically
and in prayer to forge a new era of hope and prosperity for the local government.
In a new year message signed by the chairman on Tuesday, December 31,2020, he noted that the year 2021 holds a lot of promise for the state and the local government
IN HIS STATEMENT : “As 2020 come to and end and 2021 beckons, on behalf of my family and I, let me wish you and your family a very happy New Year in advance”.
In 2020, we became headquarter for extreme poverty, however, I am convinced that in 2021, if we chart a new course, we can become the nation’s headquarter for hope and extreme devotion to the cause of lifting our people out of poverty.
2021 is as yet a blank page. As a nation, we must not settle for whatever it brings. Rather, we must take collective action, through our prayers in making it a year where we revive hope, with visionary leadership that sees our economy and institution working again as they did in our golden era.
We can chart a new course and open a new chapter that sees every kogites living in peace and prosperity with their neighbors.
It can be the year when our youths finally get a job instead of being unfairly tagged as thugs. With purposeful determination.
Don’t lose heart and hope in God. Kogi state is no stranger to overcoming difficulties. That resilience is domiciled in our cultural psyche and together, we shall make both Dekina local government and Kogi state a better place.
