DBN In Celebrating #WorldEnvironmentDay with a heart full of giving and learning donates some receptacles to the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB)

At Development Bank of Nigeria, We don’t just talk Sustainability; We Take Action! On the occasion of this year’s World Environment Day, we’re excited to share how we impacted our community.

We kicked off the day by donating some receptacles to the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB). We believe that by providing proper waste management infrastructure, we’re contributing to a cleaner, healthier environment for all. Together with AEPB, we’re creating a sustainable waste management system that sets the standard for collaboration on sustainability issues.

Our commitment didn’t stop there! We seized the opportunity to visit our adopted school, where we connected with young minds eager to make a difference. Our passionate team shared valuable insights on the importance of World Environment Day, teaching the students about the significance of preserving our planet and living sustainably. We organized engaging activities, recycling workshops and interactive games that instilled a love for nature and the environment.

By empowering these future leaders, we’re nurturing a generation that will champion sustainable practices and shape a greener future. Together, we’re fostering a sense of responsibility towards our planet and inspiring positive change.
