On Tuesday, 9th June 2020, award-winning entertainer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known as D’banj celebrated his 40th birthday in the presence of family, close friends, and industry colleagues.
With well over two decades servicing the entertainment space in talent and character, Dbanj who pivoted has indeed worked tirelessly to attain status and level worth celebrating.
Commencing with the signing of an exclusive deal with Heritage Bank in conjunction with his CREAM platform led by CEO Damian Ifeanyi Okoroafor to provide funding for the Nigerian creative industry, the day picked up in high notes.
The private affair which was held at his home was hosted by Jimmie the entertainer and the boisterous event was a commemoration of the life and career milestone, as it also marked the beginning of a new era for the industry statesman.
The special day moved from introspection on his journey to becoming a high energy celebration with close industry friends and guests making momentary visits to felicitate with the family. Some of the attendees include; Mavin boss-Don jazzy, Wandecoal, Bovi, Dj Obi, Bankhead, Ehiz, Clarence, Ini Edo, Rukky Sanda, Seun Kuti, Terri, Swank Jerry.
The celebration was a one in time moment with Don Jazzy and Wande coal performing live to some of their label classics, taking the night further into the thrills of entertainment.
In the concluding part of the concert, Dbanj expressed his gratitude to God, family, and teeming fans for the love shown over the years. Announcing his return, he urged everyone to anticipate his forthcoming single release dubbed Stress-free, as well as a timely album that is underway.
