Daily survival in Nigeria a miracle —Anglican bishop

by

Anglican Bishop of Nnewi diocese, Rt. Rev. Ndubuisi Obi has decried increasing hardship in the country, attributing the dangerous trend to zero leadership at the federal level.

He said Nigeria’s current situation is so worrisome that surviving each day had become a miracle.

The prelate spoke at the Bishop Court Nnewi, Anambra State, during a press briefing ahead of the diocesan synod themed, “Created for Dominion.”

He described Nigeria as a failed state, stressing that prevalent agitations across the country was enough indication that Nigerians were unhappy with the leadership at the centre.

He noted that he always got infuriated whenever the handlers of the Buhari led government talked about the “presidency” instead of the “president”, wondering whether Nigerians elected the presidency and not the president.
