CT Taxi prepares to launch in Abuja , Sets to compete with Bolt, Uber CT Taxi.

Nigerian based cab hailing start-up, has concluded plans to launch its services in the capital city of Abuja, Nigeria in June in a bid to redefine the nation’s cab-hailing rides by providing cabs that will guarantee comfort, safety, affordability and most especially, security of both the driver and commuters. In a pre-launch announcement from Johnson Musa, the founder and CEO of CT Taxi, he reiterated the start-ups’ vision which is simply to have a new platform for unprecedented logistic solutions available to Nigeria.
“Our vision is to be one of the top ride-sharing apps in world and No. 1 in Africa. Safety and comfort remain our pivotal point, and all mechanisms are being put in place to have these delivered” he said. Speaking further, Johnson said the challenges of an evolving society necessitated the move. “As we have the challenges of an evolving society, we chose to pay more attention to the business of moving people around cities, in a more secure and comfortable way.
We are bringing a differentiated perspective to the market – It goes beyond rides. CT Taxi is a new platform for innovation and satisfaction via solutions” he said. On his part, the co-founder, CT Taxi Nigeria, DJ Akinniyi said riders are ensured of best experience. “Riders are ensured of the best experience using CT TAXI as their rides are handled by well cultured and better-off driver-partners which eventually leads to a better service delivery. We believe that majority of the tariff of a trip should go to drivers amidst the rising cost of sustaining the vehicle, while having the riders enjoy affordable fares. The world is changing every day and relies around technology, one feature at time – we are changing the attitude to transportation – it can only get more secure and comfortable” he said.
Speaking further, Akinniyi said everyone should have access to a seamless and easy transportation from point A-B, while providing this service at a lesser price for riders and more rewards for drivers is the goal of CT Taxi. “In order to ease the movement of human beings from point A to B, we have joined the league of solution providers in the E-taxi hailing business, but with a difference; we provide more security and comfort.” Everyone should have access to a seamless and easy form of transportation – because in our perception, transportation is a right, not a privilege.
That is why we have worked hard to create a platform that caters to your every need, regardless of income or social status. Furthermore, CT TAXI promises better products and service delivery for customers by charging 10% less than its closest competitors, and its driver partners will be earning 30% more than the closest competitor” he added.
