“This briefing and interactive meeting is being coordinated and jointly chaired by the Spokespersons Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere and Comrade Mark Adebayo.”
Sources in the known said the CUPP spokesperson, Ikenga Ugochinyere, is being accused of collecting an unspecified sum of money from the suspended acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC),  Ibrahim Magu.
One of the sources said the money,  running into millions was meant for media campaign in support of Magu,  who is being probed for alleged corruption.
Ikenga Ugochinyere was alleged to have enlisted the National Chairman of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Chief Dan Nwanyanwu into the defense of Magu in the media.
“You can see how Dan Nwanyanwu has been defending Magu. He is doing it for Ikenga because he does not want to do the job directly for fear of the backlash,” the source said.
