COVID-9: Buhari elected to work not to talk –APC defend President Inability to address the nation .

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed the calls by some Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari should make a national broadcast on the coronavirus pandemic. According to the party the president is elected to work and not to talk.

The party therefore commended the President for all the actions taken so far to curtail the spread of the virus

Also, it commended the ministers that are donating 50 per cent of their March salaries into the fight against the Coronavirus.

APC, in a statement from its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu quipped that the President was voted into power to work and not to talk and he is doing the work.

In the statement, he said: “A few Nigerians want a President whose preoccupation is talking; while the majority voted for a President who is deploying his energy to working. We all can see the effect of the grand efforts being led by President Muhammadu Buhari to contain the coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic in Nigeria.”
