Members of the National Assembly will from today receive their COVID-19 vaccination jabs with the President of Senate, Dr Ahmad Lawan, taking the vaccine at 2pm.
Lawan, who disclosed this before adjourning Senate plenary on Tuesday, said he will take the jab in his fourth floor office in the Senate wing of the National Assembly.
He added that the federal legislators have two weeks to be vaccinated and will be expected to indicate the date they will want to take the jabs in a register to be made available at the entrance to the two chambers of the National Assembly.
