COVID-19: Lady Juliet Anaeme Applauds PDP, Atiku, FG On Their Moves Pertaining to Curtailed the scourge, advises NGOs, Religion Bodies to Join Hands together

A Strong, Proactive PDP Faithful & a National Women Mobiliser and National President United For A New Nigeria Initiative in the person of *”Lady Juliet.C.Anaeme”* popularly known as *”AdaOzubulu”* has expressed her gratitude towards the recent decision made by the Party PDP to suspend it’s activities nationwide due to the epidemic Corona-Virus, the Financial support by the 2019 Presidential Candidate of the party *H.E.Atiku Abubakar* towards the eradication of the virus cum aid to the masses in such difficult time & also his sense of honesty to make known to Nigerians the health status of his son.
She also appreciates the FG for their decision to shut down critical sectors of the country/ restriction of movements as a preventive and control measure against the epidemic.

She clearly states:

“I wish to express my profound gratitude to the People’s Democratic Party on their immediate compliance with the health authority towards combating the Corona virus, by their decision to close down all the PDP secretariats nationwide and immediate suspension of party ongoing congresses.

The People’s Democratic party has proved to Nigerians that they have the health and welfare sector of the masses at heart and will do all to aid the process.

I also want to use this medium to commend and thank His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for taking a lead in the fight against this deadly virus called covid-19,Atiku has once again through his action shown not just Nigerians but the entire world that true leadership is found in our attitudes by taking a very bold step in revealing to the world the health status of his son Mohammed Abubakar, his honesty at this very critical moment of his life has earned him a distinction and has also proved him to be a good leader who is worthy of emulation alongside his financial support to the Nation to fight the virus.

At this time,I urge Nigerians to comply with the health authorities and play safe through self isolation and distancing themselves from social gatherings as we keep praying for our dear country Nigeria and immediate recovery of the victims.

I also plead with the government, humanitarian agencies, NGOs and churches to make remarkable contributions to ensure that the lives of the masses are saved by donating hand sanitizers, facial masks and possibly food items to the less privileged especially in the remote areas.

I commend the decision of the government to shut down every where till further notice but I also ask the President and the Government Authorities to also consider what becomes of a common family man who depends on daily income for survival. I think its time for the government to support the masses financially; if they really care otherwise a common man would prefer to die of corona virus than hunger,in that case there will not be a total compliance by the masses.
By the grace of God, I know this challenge we face this day will surely pass.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
