Report reaching Observers Times has it that there has been for the past three days an increase in the influx of Almajiris and other young men of Kano, Kaduna, Jigawa and Adamawa origins into Lokoja the state capital of Kogi State.

According to eyewitness account, these people are running away from their various states in the wake of the outbreak of Covid 19 in their states of origin.

These people come in in their hundreds in trucks. Especially at night, he said.

The state governor, Bello had earlier this week, claimed that the Kogi state government had developed an application to test Covid 19. This did not go down well with Nigerians and it was met with negative reactions from all quarters.
