COVID-19: I’m Negative -Yahaya Bello Insists

Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, has denied insinuations that he tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

The governor disclosed this in a post on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday, stressing that its fake news and further urged Nigerians to stay at home to stay safe from the disease.

“Please stay at home and stay safe. I got NO Covid… Stop. FakeNews” he said.

Malam Abba Kyari, President Buhari’s Chief of staff who’s positive, visited Bello on 17 March, to deliver Buhari’s message to the governor at the prayers marking the eighth days since the death of his mum.

This led to calls for his self-isolation and insinuations that he has also become positive.
