COVID-19: GTB Announces 100 Bed Facility To Combat Epidemic

Guaranty Trust Bank Plc. (GTB) has said that it is setting up a 100- bed Intensive Care Centre for Nigerians in Onikan, Lagos to combat coronavirus.

The bank disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, stating that the centre would be fully funded with all the necessary equipment like respiratory machines.

The bank also promised to provide health personnel who would treat and care for those affected by the pandemic.

“As you know, COVID-19 is having a growing impact on every aspect of our society, and it is only by working together that we can defeat the outbreak.

“Individually, this means that we must assume a greater sense of responsibility, not just for our own sake but for those around us,” the statement added.
