COVID-19: Garba Shehu in self isolation as Nigeria’s coronavirus cases rise

Senior Special Assistant to President Mohammed Buhari on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu,, has gone into self-isolation after he had contact with a man who tested positive for coronavirus Mr Abba Kyari, OBSERVERS TIMES learnt.

So far, the Media aide did not exhibited any symptom of the disease, but based
on the recommendation of the Nigeria Centre for disease Control, he will remain in Isolation in order to avoid the risk of spread of the disease.

“Currently, the blood sample of the Mr Shehu has been taken and is undergoing Clinical test. For the period of the clinical testing the Media aide will remain in isolation pending the outcome of the clinical result.
