APC Senator, Representing Kogi East Jibrin Isah Echocho has urged the people of Kogi State to adhere strictly to the safety measures given by the government, and relevant agencies in a bid to combat the deadly Coronavirus pandemic which has killed over 60,000 and infected more than one million persons worldwide.
Accompanied the messages is relief materials such as Bags of Rice, Indomie and Hands Sanitizers to the be share for the vulnerable person ,the development that triggers angers among the citizens and some political observers, who took to social media to ventilate their angers over lack of sincerity behind the Items donated by the Senator.

Residents in Okpo of Olamaboro, Ankpa town in Ankpa local government, Oguma in Bassa local government, Anyigba in Dekina local government, Ejule, Ugwolawo and other key and suburb communities in Kogi East have expressed gross disappointment with the relief materials sent to them by the Senator Representing Kogi East Alhaji Jibrin Isah Echocho,
They expressed shock that the amount of food (relief materials) given to them was not enough for even one smallest local government not to talk of a entire local government that comprises a number of streets, villages and communities, but thank the Senator for even given them the little, but was diverted by the APC leaders, who has a way of diverting money, goods and services for their own family benefit.
Mr Labaran John a strong APC supporters and a committed loyalist of Senator Jibrin Isah said the food items suppose to be left alone for commoners and those who don’t have, in time of this,not necessarily need to be politicized and hijacked by the leaders of the party.
Yusuf Opaluwa Monday, Kogi political analyst expressing his anger through his social media Facebook account accused Dekina APC appointees of hijacking the reliefs material where as a staunch member of the APC in Dekina who don’t want his name mentioned accused the zonal chairman of being in possession of the reliefs materials, as so many of them only saw the picture on Facebook.
Former Governor Wada Senior Special Assistant on Communication and strategy,Alfred Dogwo took to his Facebook page to demand the where about of the trailer load of relief materials and medicaments sent to the local government in Bassa by the senator and his cohorts.
Many analysts earlier warned the Kogi east senator not to turn the relief materials to APC members affairs,but it turn to party affairs and creating disaffection among the party members
It took the APC stake holders to convince Kogi east senator into embarking on distribution of food and relief materials to augement the two weeks lockdown announced by the government, as the senator claimed severally to have sent medical equipment to many general hospital in Kogi east before the break out of COVID-19.
Kogi east senator it was revealed reluctantly donated 90 bags of rice,some cartons of Indomie and a cash of 200,000 to each nine local government areas with each taken home 10 bags of rice and five cartons or Indomie,even though it was diverted.
The most worrisome was not long after the donations and presentation,media men attached to the Senator and some loyalists went on air claiming the donation of trailer loads of Rice,Beans,Indomie and sanitizers,far from the reality.
Kogi east people are demanding the whereabout of the few items donated for distribution to the vulnerable, rather than being hijacked by the so called party leaders from Kogi east for their concubines and newly acquired Inlaw

AKOYA! AKOYA!!AKOYA Sen Dr. Jibrin Isah Echocho : ANKPA CONVID 19 INTERVENTION STIMULI PACK DIVERTED
GOOD MORNING our dear Sen Dr.jibrin isah echocho,thank you for at least remembering your constituency during this trial period.Your stimuli packs arrived arrived it destination successfully, but it may interest you to know that that of Ankpa local government stimuli packs is missing in action or transit from the point of sharing to Ankpa.
After over 48 hours nothing is heard,or seen in Ankpa,the venue for the distribution to the masses has not been communicated,neither has any received a portion of the stimuli pack.This is an indication that something is wrong somewhere.It is either the stimuli pack has been diverted,or your office or the coordinators decided to exclude Ankpa from the Harvest.
Which ever one it may be,please sir we want you to call your coordinators especially that of Ankpa to make available those Stimuli packs and communicate the venue/venues for distribution to the masses.
Sir,this laudable objective should not be allowed to be jorpadise by some greedy political sycophants as the have done in the past.
