In the midst of death tolls rocking the inhabitants of Kogi state, coupled with the Government’s nonchalance attitude towards curtailing the ravaging coronavirus, Abduljabbar Omaiza, a native of Okene Area of kogi state has expressed dissatisfaction in the Yahaya Bello led administration, the citizen who spoke in an aggressive fashion slams the Governor who has failed to carry out his primary prerequisites as it relates to curtailing the geometric spread of the virus.
Omaiza who accused the state Government of committing murder against inhabitants of the State, argued that the State Government’s tyrannical approach towards handling the ravaging coronavirus has inject fears into the people who fall sick to the virus but can open up or come out to publicly make know thier health condition because of the fear of the state Government.
It is unfortunate that, Mallam Abdulateef Suleiman, the personal assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello died on oxygen which connotes coronavirus likelihood, instead of the state Government to investigate the Real cause of the Death, they swiftly published on social media that the personal assistant to the Governor died of cardiac arrest in an Abuja private hospital, this is totally unacceptable and unprofessional, especially in this period of Coronavirus scares, Abduljabbar Omaiza slams.
Omaiza argued that, the member representing Ibaji constituency in the state Assembly, Hon John Abah who passed away about a week ago suffered similar fate, but the state Government didn’t want to discuss the true rationale behind the recent death upsurge in the state to members of the public, we are living in palpable fears. Omaiza disclosed.
I can assure you that, thousands of Kogites are infected with the virus, but it is unfortunate that the State Government didn’t believe in the existence of Coronavirus, that is why the Bello led administration is doing little or nothing to arrest the situation.
We are calling on the federal government of Nigeria, to Call Yahaya Adoza Bello and members of his cabinet to order as we can no longer tolerate his nonchalance attitude which has killed and still killing inhabitants of Kogi state. He concluded.
