COVID-19 -19 Borno Women Commissioner, Commends UN Women,Federal Ministry Of Women Affairs Over Empowerment Of Vulnerable Women.

Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Developement in Borno State,Hajiya Zuwera Gambo has praised the efforts of the Federal Ministry of Women affairs in collaboration with UN Women on the donation of items to the vulnerable women in the state.
Hajiya Zuwera Gambo made the observation during the presentation of food and non food items to the beneficiaries to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
She also salute efforts of the two bodies,both foreign and local bodies for given attention to HIV/AIDS patient to avoid stigmatisation so as to enable them live a normal life.
The commissioner says the choice of Borno women was timely inview of the effects of insurgents and COVID-19 disease ravaging the world.
Hajiya Gambo assured the donors that the singular gesture will encourage the state government to do more to the less priviledge in the state .
She urged other local and foreign bodies to key into the humanitatian service of the collaborators,so as to guarantee a good and healthy living.
