COIJ Congratulates New Exco Of Idoma Association USA

Following the successful election of Idoma Association USA, which produced Chief Prince Edwin Ochai as the President General of the association, while Macbeth Onoja emerged as Vice President, the Congress of Idoma Journalists (COIJ) Worldwide has congratulated all the elected officials of the famous sociocultural organisation.

 

 

 

In a statement signed by the President and Secretary, Mr. Amos Ebute and Okpani Mike Akatu Odeh, the journalist body said it views with satisfaction, the seamless conduct of the Convention which produced new exco that would run the affairs of Idoma Community in the United States for their tenure.

 

The statement urged the new exco to do its very best to improve on the image of the Idoma nation and other Nigeria’s ethnic nationalities living in the USA

 

“We wish to urge you as elected officials of Idoma socio-cultural in the US to do everything within your power and ensue that the image of Idoma nation in America is credibly enhanced. Likewise, you must be shining examples so that Nigerians from other ethnic backgrounds can emulate your good conduct.

 

 

“In the same vein, the Congress of Idoma Journalists Worldwide urges your organisation not to relent in its efforts to see that the Idoma nation in Benue particularly, is replete with human and capital development

 

“We also need not remind that no matter where you reside, home is the best, to this end, COIJ is using this platform to encourage your members to invest heavily in Idomaland

“Furthermore, COIJ wishes to Inform you that it is ready to partner and work with the Idoma USA Organisation for the betterment of Idomas in diaspora and in the homeland,” it urged.

The statement informed that other elected officers include, Mr Sylvester Onche Secretary, Mrs Grace Odama, Treasurer, Mr Map Amexi Enemari Financial Secretary, Mrs Queen Anuta PRO, Mr John Ali, Social Organiser and others.

 

“Once again, accept our heartiest congratulations and best wishes,” it added.
