Festivities such as Christmas are period to show and demonstrate more love, friendship, reflect on essence of life, progress and challenges as a people and as a nation. As we celebrate this significant day, Christmas, the birthday of Jesus Christ this year, May God in his infinity mercies wipe away the tears, worries and pains of insecurity and invarious vices in all ramifications, unemployment, and disharmony amongst us and replace with understanding and love amongst a people. May we have good governance at all levels, through deliberate positive attitudinal change and deployment for common or majority good of the people, the state and nation. May we imbibe such spirit, so as to navigate from the circus motion without appreciable movement over time. The government should lead in this drive without biase, selectivism or favoritism and intentional oppression of voices of objectivity and constructive criticism. Let each occasion like this one, add value to us as a people and to the country as a nation. May I use the occasion to further wish us joy and happiness during the Christmas and also, as the year winds down, may the coming year 2022 usher in positive attributes of growth and development under a convivial, peaceful and loving environment.
