Chief Ogwu Onoja SAN Foundation to pay NECO Fees and further expanding Scholarship to Ofante Sons and Daughters.

Deacon Job and Omada Onoja’s Foundation, founded and financed by Chief Ogwu James Onoja San CIK, held her first meeting of the year headed by the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Daniel Itodo in Ofante.

The Foundation which has been a source of blessing and hope to Orphans, Less Privileged and the community since inception, through the payment of National Examination Council (NECO) fees, drilling of borehole, welfare packages and giving of Scholarships to study in the Higher Institutions, with the #20m released by Chief Ogwu James Onoja SAN in 2018, as usual agreed in their meeting today, to pay NECO FEES and also give SCHOLARSHIPS to our brothers and sisters for the 2021 Academic Session.

According to the community leaders, students will be  drawn from  schools from Ofante community for this very purpose without any religion sentiment in shortlisting the names of students who are qualify and that will benefit.

Some Ofante community leaders who spoke to OBSERVERS TIMES explained that the leaders will work with various schools  authorities to ensure that pupils were made available for the empowerment, especially the less privileged.

“When we  make our children understand that they can get help and acceptance from any one of us who is willing and volunteers  , then a peaceful and a united community  of our dreams will be guaranteed,”he said

The community leaders  expressed delight, saying the kind gesture always being extended to them by the foundation was a major inspiration they needed to fulfil their dreams, thanks Chief Ogwu Onoja for always standing by his people despite current Economic situation of the country.
