Chief Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Condoles The Makojus, Ebira Nation Over Death Of Veteran Administrator

Former Kogi Governorship Candidate, Chief Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has condoled the Makoju family, Ebira people and Kogites over the death of the veteran administrator and business magnate, Engr. Joseph Oyeyani Makoju, OON, CFR, who passed on after a brief illness on Monday.

In a condolence message in honor of the late elder statesman, Natasha described Makoju as a seasoned entrepreneur and a patriotic administrator whose vast expirience will be missed both in the private and public sector of the country’s economy.

She prayed that his gentle soul rest in eternal peace while urging the younger generation to find inspiration in his good legacies and numerous achievements.

Late Engineer Joseph Oyeyani Makoju was the Chairman, ENL Consortium Limited and former MD/CEO of the erstwhile National Electric Power Authority (NEPA)/Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) and the Dangote Cement Plc.

 

He served as Special Adviser on Electric Power to President Goodluck Jonathan under two separate administrations. He was also a member of the National Economic Revival Council, a think-tank advising the government on economic policy.
