The Observerstimes has learned that the Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon Justice Husseini Baba Yusuf, has lost his mother, Hajia Aishatu Yusuf.
According to a family source, Hajia Yusuf passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, and was buried the following day, September 4, 2024, in accordance with Islamic rites.
The family described her as the “matriarch of the Yusuf family of Ejegbo – Ankpa, Kogi State” and prayed for her soul to be granted mercy and an abode in AlJannah Firdausi.
The news of her passing has been met with condolences from the legal community and beyond, with many offering their sympathies to the Chief Judge and his family during this difficult time.
