Chairman House Committee On Sports: NVBF President, Nimrod Congratulates Honourable Ekene Adams

President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod has described the emergence of Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams, a member representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency in Kaduna State as Chairman House Committee on Sports in the 10th House of Representatives as a welcome development.

 

 

In a statement signed by the Media representative on the Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA) Board, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson and made available to the sporting press in Kaduna on Friday July 28, 2023, Nimrod said that sports in Nigeria is up for gearing days ahead.

 

*As a dedicated sportsman and administrator who is now a lawmaker at the Green Chambers, Nigeria is looking forward to brighter days in the sports sector.

 

“I have personally worked with him and know his passion for sports development. He is indeed one of a kind and Nigeria will gain a whole lot from this,” he said.

 

He commended the Speaker for taking the best decision ever, which he believes will translate to brighter prospects for the nation especially at international outings.

 

“Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams till date, is a member of the Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA), an his contributions have been invaluable. Nigeria needs that kind of dedication to move ahead,” Nimrod added.

 

Nimrod who is also the chairman of KADSVA, therefore, congratulated Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams and wished him success in the assigned role.

 

 

It would be recalled that the House of Representatives Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas, named the committees and their chairmen on Thursday, with a delighted Honourable Ekene Adams saying, “Good evening all, I am using this medium to appreciate God Almighty and also thank you all for your prayers and best wishes. I have been appointed as the Chairman House Committee on Sports. To my boss, President of Remo Stars Football Club of Ikenne, Honourable Kunle Soname and everyone I remain loyal.”
