Capt: “Kogi First ” Capt Wada congratulates Engr. Wada, urges undiluted support for him

Captain Idris Wada, a foremost aspirant in the just concluded People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary election, in Kogi State has congratulated, Engr. Musa Wada for his victory. The easy-going former governor made the statement, on Thursday, in a statement issued by his media aide, Mr. Jonathan Jibrin. In the statement, Capt Wada urged his fellow aspirants to throw their weight behind the eventual winner, in the interest of the party and Kogi State, in general. He said he harbours no ill-feeling against anyone, stressing that power belongs to God, and he gives it to whoever he wills.
“There is no Victor, no vanquished in the exercise, as we owe the people of the state a formidable front to kick out the anti-people APC administration in the state,” he pointed out. He said has accepted the outcome of the exercise as the will of God. Capt. Wada, who had said before the primary election that his ambition is not a do-or-die affair, also called for greatest form of cohesion, to face the APC government in the state.
The former governor said that his ambition was to bring to bear his experience on governance in Kogi State, but since the delegates have decided otherwise, he has no choice than to submit to the will of the people. He thanked all those that believed in him and voted for him, in spite of enormous temptations to act otherwise. Their love and labour, he said will not be in vain, adding that they should pool their energy and expertise together to support Engineer Musa Wada
