Received a total of 157B in 47 months, used 130B to pay salaries consistently. Used 27B to run government and execute projects which includes but not limited to YAD4KOGI, Road Construction, Hospitals, Water and Rural Electrification.
Recieved 8B out of 20B bond money to execute the following projects: Lokoja ultra-modern bus terminal, Kogi hotel Lokoja, Kogi House Abuja and over 50 projects. (All projects abandoned by Governor Yahaya Bello)
Capt. Idris Wada rebuilt/renovated the Kogi liaison offices in Abuja and Lagos. He also completed all inherited projects from his predecessor.
Capt. Idris Wada never tampered with government funds. Never misappropriated allocations/funds. Most especially, Capt. Idris Wada conducted Local Government Elections which Yahaya Bello bluntly refused to conduct.
Capt. Idris Wada applied for a bailout of 50.8B to solve in totality the lingering problems of salaries and pensions before he came into office. The money though approved, was never disbursed by the APC led CBN under political conspiracy. (Recall this same APC led Federal Government and CBN recently released the money to Yahaya Bello which he has been squandering in recent time bribing his way to secure reelection)
Capt. Idris Wada remain the best fit for Kogi’s top job come Sept. 3 and Nov 16 considering his wealth of experience in democratic governance, his honesty, humility and truthfulness.
Kogi, let’s win with Capt. Idris Wada. The best option to Restore Kogi’s pride through economic and human capacity development.
