An independent investigation has tonight revealed that there are perfected plans from government house Lokoja to encroach and wreck havoc on political supporters (pro-Igala agenda) from Kogi East.
The emerging report from reliable sources has suggested that the executive governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza, has perfected plans to invade Kogi East with armed thugs aimed at identifying, kidnapping, and possibly killing pro-Igala Agenda supporters to drive home his political aim.
According to the source, a meeting was held today at the Lord Lugard house in Lokoja where Yahaya Bello allegedly endorsed the mission to storm the Igala kingdom to abduct and possibly kill the proponents of the Igala Agenda, who are believed to be partly supporters of Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party, SDP.
It will be recalled that the same governor a couple of days ago masterminded the assassination attempt on the SPD governorship candidate, whom he believes is his greatest threat heading towards the election.
While the inhabitants of Kogi East, especially those loyal to Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka, are yet to recover from the incident, the governor has perfected another plan to take them by surprise by invading the kingdom with armed thugs.
The security architecture of the state must at this point rise to the occasion and reprimand the evil agenda of Yahaya Bello in Igala Kingdom. He mustn’t be allowed to kill the people of Igala Kingdom for his selfish political reasons, and we call on the supporters to be vigilant.
