Buhari commends PDP Governor, Dankwambo for developmental projects in Gombe

President Muhammadu Buhari has commended Gombe state Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo for the infrastructure development his administration put in place during his eight-year rule in the state.
The President who was represented by the Vice President Prof Yami Osinbajo gave the commendation on Monday when he inaugurated several completed projects built under the Dankwambo administration, describing the governor as a great achiever and congratulated the people of the state.
Osinbajo while inaugurating the women and children’s hospital in the state capital restated the commitment of buhari’s administration towards providing access to quality healthcare for all Nigerians.
He further said the project would not only address the problem of health care in the state but also throughout the country.

He solicited the cooperation of the state towards achieving the federal government effort in expanding the health care services.
In a remark, Gombe State commissioner of health Dr Kennedy Ishaya noted that the aim of establishing the hospital was to reduce the level of maternal and infant mortality in the state.
He said the one hundred-bed capacity hospital equipped with independent water and power supply would cater for only women and children.
