Breaking : Zenith Bank Heeds Gov. Sanwo Olu’s Plea, Donates N100 million For Abule Ado Gas Explosion Victims

Executive Governor of Lagos State Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu today received a delegation from Zenith Bank PLC at the Alausa State House in Ikeja

The Zenith Bank management decided to extend a gesture of humanity to victims of Sunday’s gas explosion in the Abule Ado area of Lagos, through the state government.

Recall that Mr Sanwo Olu on Monday sought the support of the public to donate towards the course of offering relief packages to those affected in the unfortunate incident.

Zenith Bank in their capacity has contributed 100 million naira to the relief fund, as announced by the governor.

The relief fund committee which is chaired by Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat seeks to raise a whopping sum of N250 billion to service the welfare packages outlined for the Abule Ado victims
The governor in his remarks appreciated the gesture from Zenith Bank, even as he called on other organizations to support the government’s effort in providing succour to the victims.
