BREAKING: Tunde Ojo emerges New Acting Clerk to The National Assembly

Architect Olatunde Amos Ojo, the former Secretary, Procurement and Works of the National Assembly has emerged the new Clerk to the National Assembly.

Ojo, who is the most senior officer becomes the clerk after the National Assembly Service Commission effected the retirement of Mr Muhammed Sani-Omolori and other senior staff.
The commission has earlier this week announced the retirement of Omolori, but the erstwhile clerk insisted that he remains in charge asking other affected staff to ignore that notice.

Others appointed are; Bala Yabani Mohammed, Acting Deputy Clerk to The National Assembly; Dauda Ibrahim El-Ladan, Acting Clerk, Senate; Patrick A. Giwa to remain Clerk, House of Representatives pending retirement in November, 2020 and Yusuf Asir Dambatta, Acting Secretary to the National Assembly Commission.
All appointments are with immediate effect.
