Because of the worsening security situation in the country and in the Southern region, the Southern governors of Nigeria have convoked an ongoing closed door meeting in Delta State.
A source told Elombahnews that the major issue which will be mostly discussed in the meeting is restructuring.
Recall that the clamour for restructuring amongst political gladiators in the country has been on for years.
Restructuring Nigeria will allow the three regions to manage their economic resource unlike the present political arrangement that gives federal government control over everything.
The State governments are made to appear impotent as their sustenance are determined by monthly allocations from the central government. Restructuring will revise this ugly economic trend.
