The Peoples Democratic Party has appointed the Deputy Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Engineer Benson Abounu, as the Chairman of the electoral committee for its Congress in Niger state scheduled for Saturday, August 7, 2021.
The appointment of Engr Abounu was contained in a letter addressed to him by Col Austin Akobundu (rtd), the National Organising Secretary.
The letter which was dated on Thursday, August 5, 2021, has Hon. Sunday Zaka as the secretary of the Congress committee.
