Dogara has switched between both parties three times since 2013.

Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has once again left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Dogara was a guest of President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Friday, July 24, 2020.

He was in the company of the caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni.
