BREAKING: NJC Issues Directives To Heads Of Court Nationwide

The National Judicial Council NJC has given Policy Directions on Political and Election-Related Cases to Heads of Court across the country.

This is essential for deliberate endeavors to check or eliminate to the barest least occurrences of issuance of clashing orders or judgments fit for disrupting the ongoing electioneering process.

Sources said the Chief Justice of Nigeria CJN, Dr Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad Presided over the meeting where the police directions were planned.

Under the new direction, Heads of Courts are to consequently be considered liable for escape clauses in their areas of jurisdiction.
