Breaking News: President Tinubu Appoints Senator Adedayo Adeyeye as NPA Chairman

 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Senator Adedayo Adeyeye as the Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA). Senator Adeyeye, a seasoned lawyer, journalist, and politician, brings a wealth of experience to the role.

Previously, he served as Minister of State for Works and represented Ekiti South Senatorial District in the Senate. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the NPA.

In addition, President Tinubu has appointed Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho as the Managing Director of the NPA. Dr. Dantsoho, a maritime expert with a Doctorate in Maritime Technology and a Master’s in International Transport, has extensive experience in the industry, having served in various roles within the NPA.

These appointments are expected to bring significant improvements to the nation’s port operations and enhance the country’s maritime sector.
