The Supreme Court this morning, 7th March 2024 has stayed the execution of the orders of the court of Appeal made on 1st of March 2024 in which the inspections carried out by the Petitioners and orders G, K and N of the orders of Tribunal made on 25th November 2023 were set aside. The interim stay was made following application for interim stay made by the legal team of the Petitioners. Moving the application this morning, 7th March 2024, Chief J.S.Okutepa SAN, leading Shaibu Enejoh Aruwa SAN and other lawyers, urged the Supreme Court to grant the application to avoid irreparable damages the orders of the Court of Appeal will cause the Petitioners. The Supreme Court agreed and ordered for stay in terms of the reliefs sought in the motion filed on the 5th of March 2024. Motion on notice has been adjourned to 11th March 2024 for hearing.
