The National Assembly Service Commission(NASC), has approved 60 years as retirement Age,and 35 years in service, OBSERVERS TIMES report.
A statement signed by the Executive Chairman of the Commission,Engnr. Ahmed Amshi kadi says the decision takes immediate effect.
According to the Chairman, ‘Pursuant to its mandate as provided by the National Assembly act 2014,as (amended) (by) National Assembly Service Commission at it’s 497th meeting, held on Wednesday 15th July, 2020, approved the retirement age of the staff of the National Assembly Service at 35 years in service, and 60 years of age, whichever comes first.’
According to the release obtained by the OBSERVERS TIMES ,the Commission has approved the immediate retirement of the staff of the National Assembly Service who have already attained the retirement age of 35 years of service or 60 years of age.’ The Circular stated
Consequently, ‘Retirement letters will be issued to the affected staff accordingly.’
