Mr. Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday was booed at Maiduguri by the residents who are angry over the rising insecurity in the state.
Buhari on Wednesday visited Maiduguri; the Borno state capital to condole with the state government and the families of 30 persons killed by Boko Haram in the attack that took place on Sunday.
The president’s visit is coming three days after the attack.
Residents were seen shouting, “go, we don’t want, you don’t have our support again”.
Boko Haram members on Sunday attacked passengers at the Auno community in Maiduguri, Borno state killing 30 persons.
Mr. Dan Borno, a witness, said the attack happened at the Auno community less than 5 kilomtres to the Maiduguri International Airport and close to Nigeria Air Force Base at about 4:55 pm local time.
