BREAKING: Kano confirms 2 new cases of COVID-19, unrelated to first case

Kano State Government on Monday confirms two new COVID-19 cases in the state.

OBSERVERS TIMES can confirmed that the two new case did come in contact with the index case recorded on Sunday.

Sources said the two cases reside in Dala Local Government Area, one of the most densely populated area in the metropolis.

The state ministry for Health confirmed the new cases on its Twitter handle on Monday evening.

The ministry tweeted “as at 7: 45pm additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Kano State.”

With the two new positive cases, Kano now has 3 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
