The Federal Housing Authority (FHA) has announced a regularization exercise for property documents of allottees in its estates in Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The exercise, which is scheduled to commence soon, aims to afford allottees who have built without approval, carried out development outside granted approval, or engaged in other unapproved activities the opportunity to regularize their property documents.
*Affected Estates*
The regularization exercise will cover the following estates in Lagos State:
– Festac Town
– Gowon Estate
– Isheri Olofin 1 and 2
– Satellite 2 Navy Town
– Satellite 6
– Egan A, B, ADB, E, F
– Esuti (Right and Left sides)
– Abesan 1-13
– IOB
– 11-13
In the FCT, the affected estates are:
– Gwarinpa
– Lugbe
– Kubwa
– Maitama
– Asokoro
– Karu
– Apo/Guzape
*Regularization Process*
Affected allottees in Lagos are required to visit the office of the Zonal Manager, FHA South West Zone, 211 Road, Festac Town, Lagos, while those in Abuja should visit the office of the Executive Director, Estate Services at the Head Office, 26 Julius Nyerere Crescent, Asokoro, Abuja.
*Enforcement Notice*
The FHA management has warned that it will commence enforcement to comply with the Authority’s building regulations at the expiration of the notices contained in the radio announcements.

The regularization exercise is expected to bring relief to allottees who have been unable to perfect their property documents due to various irregularities. It is also expected to enhance the value of properties in the affected estates and ensure compliance with the FHA’s building regulations.
