BREAKING: EFCC CHAIRMAN CONVICTED, SENT TO JAIL.

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has convicted the incumbent Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abdulrasheed Bawa for contempt of court in relation to his agency’s failure to comply with an earlier order of the court for the EFCC to return a seized Range Rover and Fourty Million Naira (40,000,000.00) to the defendant in the case before the court.

According to The Nation Newspaper, the Court ordered the Inspector -General of Police to ensure he be remanded in Kuje prison immediately.
