Breaking : COVID-19: Gov Yahaya Bello In Self Isolation.

Bello has since remained indoors in Asokoro since the phone call on Monday refusing to attend to any visitor, OBSERVERS TIMES learnt.

It was only after Abba Kyari’s status became public today that his aides were able to rationalise his sudden mood relapse since Monday.

As at press time it’s not known whether he has called the NCDC to surrender himself for testing for the infectious virus yet.

But his staff believe that his attitude since yesterday amounts to self isolating as advised by NCDC

Even before the Covid-19 positive status of the President”s Chief of Staff became public knowledge, Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello had heard of the bad news and quickly retreated from the public.

Sources close to Bello revealed to OBSERVERS TIMES that the Governor got the information during launch hour in his Asokoro Abuja palatial residence on Monday.

It was reliably gathered that Bello was headed for the dining table in his expansive Banquet Hall when he picked the call believed to have emanated from his contacts in Aso Rock

His demeanor was said to have transformed while answering the call and rather than progress towards the dining table Bello reportedly did a u-turn and began heading for upstairs.
He was quoted to have asked repeatedly “are you sure? ” and exclaimed “this is serious” in the course of the phone conversation

Our source said he called PA and then his Chief of Staff and told them to ask everyone in the anteroom waiting to see him to leave.

He told his aides he will not be attending to anybody until further notice.
Visitors who had come to see him including those he had already invited to table where said to have been puzzled by the sudden change of attitude wondering what he must have been told in the course of the phone call.
Meanwhile Kogi state government has isolated some unknown person due to risen case of COVID -19, the state commissioner of Health disclosed this in Lokoja.
