It was gathered that on the 15th of this month police operative attached to same division divisions had arrested one Jamilu Ibrahim a k a, Gerald age 31 from Tudun Wada, kagara in Rafi LG A of Niger State
The suspect was arrested at Regina town Rafi local government of Niger State he has been in the command list of wanted suspect, for killing one Alhaji Samaila Isyaku from tudun Bako village on the 1st September 2019, during the LG chairmanship political campaign race rally in Kagara
He was reported to had stabbed the deceased to death with a knife and had since been on the run to Gada- Kassar village in Mashegu local government Niger state
During interrogation the suspect had confessed to the crime and claims that he was attacked by some political thugs during the rally which led to his action
Speaking was the state commissioner of police ,CP Monday Bala Kuryas FSI, commended the police operatives for this whoop record and urged them not to relent in the onslaught against banditry and others criminality in the state he said
The CP further directed for a discreet investigation into the case and assured that the suspect will face the full wrath of the law and be prosecuted accordingly
