Femi Osibona, owner of Fourscore Homes, the company in charge of the 21-storey building that collapsed in Lagos, has been found dead.
An official of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), who confirmed the development at the site, said rescue workers recovered the body on Thursday evening.
Our correspondent gathered that his body was discovered before 7pm and identified by officials of the Ministry of Physical Planning before it was evacuated in an ambulance.
At the time of this report, no official announcement has been made in that regard but bystanders and artisans informed reporters on the development as the body bag was being moved to the ambulance.
The building, one of a group of three under construction, collapsed on Monday afternoon.
As of Thursday afternoon, NEMA had recovered 38 bodies.
