Bloodbath as Police Immobilize IPOB in Imo

Several members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) were killed yesterday in an encounter with the police at Orlu in Imo State, OBSERVERS TIMES report.

According to the police, the militants were on their way to attack Orlu Police Station when they were ambushed and mowed down by soldiers and policemen.

Officers said several stolen vehicles used by IPOB militants in their operation were recovered after the Orlu encounter. A video has also been released showing the militants boarding vehicles as they embarked on the ill-fated operation.

Orlu is the second largest city in Southeast Nigeria.
