Bizarre: 6 Unidentified Gunmen Ransacked the Residence of Politician and Right Activist, Austeen Otene after online video

Unknown gunmen suspected to be undercover personnel of the DSS was said to have ransacked the residence of Hon. Austeen Anibe Otene in the early hours of Tuesday January 28, 2020 at about 4:10AM at Jabi in Abuja.

According to information from his cousin who is currently living in the apartment, the men stormed the house and barged into it demanding the whereabouts of Hon. Austeen Anibe Otene and when he told them Hon. Austeen had traveled to Port Harcourt, one of the men landed him a slap on the face that he was he was lying to them and they went into a search of the entire 2 bedroom apartment.

Since they could not find Hon. Austeen Anibe Otene after the search, they demanded for his phones numbers and the cousin told them that Hon. Anibe only uses one number which he know of, one of the men again landed him slaps claiming he was still lying to them with one of them threatening to arrest him.

The men were said to have stormed the apartment in a navy blue tinted Toyota Highlander without plate number.

They further demanded of Hon. Austeen Anibe’s address in Port Harcourt and when his cousin said he doesn’t know, again he received more slaps.

According to our source, the 6 men were dressed in all black in such a way that it was difficult to identify anyone. 3 of the men were said to have entered the house while 2 went towards the back and 1 was stationed in the front.

They were said to have spent approximately 5 or 6 minutes and left after failing in their bid.

As of the time of this report, we have contacted Hon. Austeen Anibe Otene and he is safe.

Hon. Austeen Anibe Otene said this has further strengthened his passion to continue to demand for accountability from public (elected) office holders and that he will continue to speak against the Nigerian Government’s constant abuse of the Fundamental Human Rights of citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Hon. Austeen Anibe Otene said the reason why evil thrives is because everyone is complacent and have caved along the sentiments of religion, ethnicity and politics.

He said his lawyers has been directed to make a formal report on this invasion.
