Penultimate week, businessman Tunde Ayeni took a break from exonerating himself from a paternity case between him and his Abuja-based lawyer/lover, Adaobi Alagwu, to host eminent personalities from all walks of life to the introduction ceremony of his daughter, Abolaji. The ceremony which was supposed to be a simple one snowballed into a big ceremony. The well attended and colourful occasion took place at his GRA Ikeja, Lagos home with family members, well-wishers, friends, associates dressed in colourful and eye-catching ensembles in grey and wine.
Among the eminent personalities present at the event were the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, Oba Francis Olusola Alao and his queen, Sola; Gen. David Jembewon (retd.); a former deputy governor of Kogi State, Yomi Awoniyi; former Transport Minister, Sen. Idris Umar; Chairman of Fidelity Bank Nigeria; Mustapha Chike Obi; former Attorney General of the Federation, Bayo Ojo; former managing director, NDDC Timi Alaibe; Femi Falana SAN, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro Jide Omokore; Director-General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Dakuku Peterside, former Executive Director of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, Chief Segun Awolowo and a host of others.
Expressing their mood on the occasion, the Ayeni family said the auspicious occasion marked a significant milestone in their lives and that made them excited to share the momentous event with their friends and other respected guests.
