by

The sacked Director of Protocol , Goverrment House adminstration,Dr Gabriel Ottah was removed to pave way for a retired Director of Protocol,Mr Sunday Bamidele Ayenibe to assume duty, OBSERVERS TIMES.

Ottah, head of information and protocol in Ibaji local goverrment for years, where he hails from, became a senior lecturer in the department of mass communication,Kogi state University Anyigba for some years before his appointment by Governor Yahaya Bello.

Dr Ottah who was in active service before his appointment as DG Protocol to the governor, was lately shown the way out by ethnic politics,as the governor prefers people from the other section of the state.

Ayenibe, highly controversial and uncoordinated, was the contemporary of the current permanent secretary Goverrment House Chief Orisha, who lobbied for the replacement of the sacked DG,just five months after his appointment.

The intensive lobby metamorphosed to a powered by some prominent members of the new administration, and follow up by the Permanent Secretary, Goverrment House.

Governor Yahaya Bello embraced the new formula,if that will help his helpless government regain strength and put up a new look.

Speculations have build up around the new administration,of concluded plans to remove all Political appointees that came through the office of the current Deputy Governor, OBSERVERS TIMES learnt.

Dr Ottah build up to the election, defended vehemently the policies and programs of Governor Yahaya Bello, while denying most of the anti goverrment policies against the people of the state.

He stood against the natural position of the people of Ibaji and the embarrassement meted out to the former Deputy Governor,Simon Achuba, to coerce the people of the area into voting the APC led goverment in the last November 16 election.
