Bello Endorsement:Our Hands are Tied,Says”Buhari Visit Save Our Thrones” Kogi Monarch.

Lokoja– Kogi State A first Class Traditional Ruler  says that they acted to safe their thrones knowing fully well that the Governor is becoming too desperate over his second term ticket that is not too sure, the First class traditional ruler who dont wants his name mention disclose this to our reporter in Lokoja, while he confirmed that their thrones  were under  threatened and they have to dance to the tune.

Attah Igala, Prince Michael Ameh Oboni in a handshake with President Mohammed Buhari Yesterday in the State House Abuja.

The monarch said the pressure from the government house was becoming too serious and the Monarchs has to act diplomatically despite the facts that they knew that there is little to what they can achieve in getting APC or PDP ticket for any of the aspirants but moved to Abuja to do exactly as the government wanted, endorsing the Governor for second term despite the fact that their action yesterday  has reduced them to mere objects of insults before their subjects in their various communities but they have saved their thrones which mostly is by inheritance.
“We know we are not suppose to openly campaigned for anybody but our hands were tied,He alleged that one of the top aides of a governor reminded them of late Hassan Ankpa experiences, and we resolved  to learned from the downfall of late Ejeh of Ankpa Col.Hassan Yakubu that was dethroned by late Prince Abubakar Audu, the Monarch while lamenting their ordeal and the high hardedness of Alhaji Yahaya Bello Government  disclosed that “Traditional kings and rulers as representatives of the gods on earth and  had the final say in almost everything. But whatever power, relevance and import the traditional system had, today is diminishing rapidly, creating victims of institutions and person. Late Colonel Hassan Yakubu was a representation of the destructive influence of modern power dynamics as In democracy over the power of Tradition”  a retired soldier was dethroned by his kinsman and Bello will stop at nothing until he dethroned all of us,if we dare go against him.
Late Colonel Hassan experience must not be allowed again,  a spectacle that would have not been imagined in the days of the gods. The crisis created by the distortion of the culture of the people of Ankpa and the consequent shock and rebellion leads to colonel Hassan banishment and eventual death. The story we never want to repeat itself in Kogi state
“Imagine the whole Attah of Igala is under Local Government Council, this is ridiculous, How can Attah who sets up Kogi East Elders Council to come up with some candidates will go again and endorse Yahaya Bello? our hands are tied” he lamented says Royal Highnesses shouldn’t be subject ridicule but time to understand with them.

However, the traditional ruler also blamed politicians who are dragging them into politics at all cost to learn from history, while claiming that Ohinoyi who was visibly absent has some of his own personal reasons and affirmed that Ohinoyi is not in their class and that not all of them can withstand the forces of the Governor the onslaught that Ohinoyi has survived due to his previous connection and direct relationship Ohinoyi is enjoying with President which none of them have such privileges.

The Traditional however denied the news of being bribed by the Governor before the Abuja visit however  asked the people of Kogi state to understand their position as the constitution has crippled the power of Traditional Rulers, he called on the federal government to implement the report of the National Political Conference which recommended specific national structures and constitutional roles for them as the current structures has pocketed them in hands of the government at all level.
