Bandits have invaded the Mobile Police Camp at Ishau, Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State, killing three officers, according to reports.
One of the reports, by Daily Trust, said that the bandits were passing through the area when they came in contact with a team of mobile policemen.
Residents told our correspondent that the terrorists were exiting Niger to Kaduna when they launched the attack on border communities,” the report published this Saturday afternoon, February 5, 2022.
It said that the Niger State Police Authorities could not be reached for comment as Wasiu Abiodun, spokesman of the command, was out of reach at the time of filing the report.
